Rita Yvonne Paredes DNP, APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner at BEST Health System, part of the Legent division. Rita has her Doctoral and is an experienced orthopedic and spine expert who focuses on pain management and minor procedures. She graduated from The University of Texas Medical Brand in Galveston, Texas with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2017 after years of rigorous study.
From 2015 to 2016, Rita worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Precision Spine and Pain Management, focusing on pain management. After that experience, she joined the Texas Spine Care Center as an ortho and spine expert as well as being a part of the Nuhope Treatment Centers as a Nurse practitioner who focuses on Opioid Dependence Recovery. Beyond those roles Rita has an expensive history working in medical centers, healthcare institutes, different ICU locations, and more all across the Texas area.
She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support from the American Heart Association, certified as Pediatric Advanced Life Support from the American Heart Association, and has also received an Advanced Medical Certification as a Basic Life Support healthcare provider.
