Tamer Elbaz, MD, is a board-certified Interventional Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology Specialist with the Pain Physicians NY branch of BEST Health System. Dr. Elbaz is passionate about helping patients find relief from complex pain conditions–from neuropathy to complex regional pain syndrome. 

Dr. Tamer Elbaz completed his anesthesiology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he was honored to serve as chief resident during his final year. He then pursued advanced training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons/St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where he was appointed Director of Pain Management, overseeing the training of physicians in a range of pain management techniques. Today, Dr. Elbaz serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
