Dr. Jaison J. Thekkekara is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician at BEST Health System’s clinic in Chicago, Illinois. He is dedicated to providing patients with exceptional care for neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS), and other chronic pain conditions.
Dr. Thekkekara earned his undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of North Texas. He then pursued his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Following medical school, Dr. Thekkekara completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Rush University Medical Center. He further specialized by completing a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Thekkekara is affiliated with several medical facilities, including Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. He is a member of professional organizations such as the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the International Neuromodulation Society.
Dr. Thekkekara is passionate about helping patients achieve lasting relief that allows them to return to a more active and fulfilling lifestyle.
