Dr. Ricardo A. Knight works at our Arlington Heights, IL location on the spinal cord stimulator team.
Before he started his career as a physical therapist in 1987 before earning his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1993.
Dr. Knight completed his training in internal medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation at Temple University in Philadelphia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Throughout his career, Dr. Knight has held positions at various institutions including Harvard Medical School and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Dr. Knight has received specialized training in the areas of pain management, musculoskeletal medicine, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
In addition to his work in spinal cord stimulation, Dr. Knight served as a medical director of the spinal cord program at Van Matre Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Rockford, and on the board of directors of UCAN, a child social service organization. Dr. Knight is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, and International Society of Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine.
