Kimberly Ruiz, PA-C is a proud physician assistant who places patients’ needs first. She is happy to be a part of the BEST Health System in the Legent division of BEST located in Texas. Kimberly’s education began when she finished her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology focused on pre-medical studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
After she graduated in 2008 she went on the complete the Physician Assistant Studies program at the University of Texas-Pan American in 2013 with her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies.
She has experienced a range of different clinical rotations, from family medicine, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, Plastic surgery, and reconstruction surgery. Her range of experience has a broad scope as well, from fetal monitoring to CBC interpretation, pelvic exams, and Pap smears, Kimberly is trained in a range of different skills.
Kimberly focuses on having outstanding bedside manner utilizing her strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to better connect with patients at BEST. She has focused on her Spanish comprehension and providing accurate information to her patients in order to deliver quality patient experiences.
In her spare time, Kimberly focuses on a range of different community service activities such as supporting San Juan Basilica Food Drive, JCPAS Annual Golf Fundraiser, Back To School Supply Donation, and many other organizations
