Background

Nurse practitioner Desiree Riley, NP-C, practices at Regenerative Orthopaedics and Spine Institute in Stockbridge and Griffin, Georgia, a proud partner of BEST Health System. 

Her nursing experience spans over 15 years, working with patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. At Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia, Desiree earned her associate of science in nursing, and at Walden University, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she earned her nurse practitioner credential.

In addition to medication management, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, ketamine therapy, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP), she specializes in diagnosing and treating pain conditions. She also won the AJC Nurse of the Year award in Atlanta.

Desiree maintains her medical credentials with continuing education to stay current with the latest advances in her field. As an advanced practice nurse and registered nurse, she holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.

Desiree is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to her patients, always striving to improve their quality of life and alleviate their pain. She takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and works closely with them to develop personalized treatment plans that address their individual needs.

She belongs to the American Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (GSIPP), and North American Modulation Society (NANS).

It is her pleasure to care for her patients at Regenerative Orthopaedics and Spine Institute, and she warmly welcomes them to the clinic. A fun fact about Desiree is that she loves spending time with friends and family in her free time.
